Duck Creek - Testing Lead (Policy, Billing, Claims)




Role description

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor or Master Degree in Information Systems/ Computer Science or equivalent

The Duck Creek Policy Module Lead is a senior level role that owns the web application testing of the programs and ensures successful quality delivery of the projects. This role should be proficient with Duck Creek application testing and understand the peripheral applications, external integrations in a P&C company. This person should responsible for overall quality of the deliverables and mentoring the Test Engineers/ Sr test engineers; good exposure to Testing methodologies and test management tools; Scope in generic: covers the activities like scripting, execution, defect reporting & Team coordination.

Policy:

 

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience with Duck Creek Policy Admin system testing
  • Knowledge on SDLC, STLC, Test Management tools like Jira, VSTS, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Hands on in testing methodologies and test management tools
  • Experience on Policy admin Testing covering UI, Rating, Referral, Transacts, Forms, Renewal conversion, Integrations, etc.
  • Should have experience in requirement review and SRS sign off , test strategy and planning, test case design and review
  • Should have knowledge on requirement traceability 
  • Should have knowledge on TAC (Test Automation Center) (Good to have)
  • Previous experience of front ending customers and their IT Leadership.
  • Ability to work independently yet function as an integral part of a team, take initiative and contribute in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Billing:

 

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience with Duck Creek Billing testing
  • Knowledge on SDLC, STLC, Test Management tools like Jira, VSTS, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Hands on in testing methodologies and test management tools
  • Experience on Billing Testing covering Payment Plan, Collection Methods, Installment schedule, Invoices, Commissions, Disbursements, PCN, Cancellation, Follow-up activities , etc. with though understanding of use of Time Travel environment.
  • Should have experience in requirement review and SRS sign off , test strategy and planning, test case design and review
  • Should have knowledge on requirement traceability 
  • Previous experience of front ending customers and their IT Leadership.
  • Ability to work independently yet function as an integral part of a team, take initiative and contribute in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

Claims:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience with Duck Creek claims testing
  • Knowledge on SDLC, STLC, Test Management tools like Jira, VSTS, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Hands on in testing methodologies and test management tools
  • Experience on claims Testing with knowledge on FNOL, Desktop, Financials, Forms & Letters, Integrations, etc.
  • Should have experience in requirement review and SRS sign off , test strategy and planning, test case design and review
  • Should have knowledge on requirement traceability 
  • Previous experience of front ending customers and their IT Leadership.
  • Ability to work independently yet function as an integral part of a team, take initiative and contribute in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Test design, Peer review, test data preparation, test execution and defect logging
  • To report the status and coordinate with the team
  • To record defects, retest and internal execution status update
  • Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have enough work in the project.
  • Keep track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the Project.
  • Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones.
  • Act as the single point of contact between Development and Testers.
  • Learning and knowledge pool creation
  • Effective Communication and Increasing the customer satisfaction
